New Directors for Trinity Park Events Limited (TPEL)
Suffolk Agricultural Association (SAA) operates a wholly owned trading subsidiary TPEL whose objective is to raise funds for the SAA, a registered charity, in order to further enable the Association to deliver its core purpose, namely ‘To promote and encourage the advancement and improvement of agriculture (including forestry, horticulture, food-production, and all allied occupations) whether through the development of skills and techniques or research, and the dissemination of knowledge of such skills, techniques and research, both as to methods of husbandry, the use of science, the use and development of agricultural implements and machinery, the application of land-management, marketing, and conservation, and the development of new agricultural products including renewables’. TPEL does this by maximising commercial activity and its profitability from our event centres and outside space at Trinity Park (owned by the SAA and totalling c280 acres just west of Ipswich, Suffolk (Google IP3 8UH).
The organisation is now seeking new Directors of TPEL due to the retirement of current Directors. The commitment requires attendance at c7 Board meetings per annum and as well the opportunity to attend events like the annual Suffolk County Show which is organised and delivered by the SAA (the roles are not remunerated). In 2023 the SAA was recognised for its contribution to education with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
