Information For Disabled Visitors

We aim to ensure that visitors with disabilities enjoy their day at the Suffolk Show.

  • A Changing Places facility is available inside the public toilet block on the corner of Main Avenue and Seventh Avenue (Grid Ref O10)

  • Centre for Disabled Visitors is run by the Suffolk East Federation of Women's Institutes is a quiet and peaceful area where refreshments can be purchased (Grid Ref S5).

  • Disabled Viewing Areas are available outside the Collins Grand Ring, President’s Ring and Trinity Ring.

  • Event Mobility Charitable Trust is providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show.  All visitors must book in advance.  Link to book will be available shortly.

Our policy on admission for disabled visitors is that whilst they are charged the appropriate full price admission,

an accompanying carer is admitted at no cost (no ticket required)

To gain free entry for the carer on the day of your visit to the Show and to be able to park in the forward parking areas, you will need to present one of the following forms of documentation at the gate:

  • A Blue Badge 

  • A disability benefit letter, such as a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Disability Living Allowance (DLA) letter 

  • A statement of special educational needs 

  • A Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) 

  • A Disabled Person's Freedom Pass 

  • A Disabled Person's Bus Pass 

  • A Carer’s allowance letter of award

Spaces in the forward parking areas are available on a first come first served basis.  Should no more spaces be available, all our staff and stewards will allow you to drop off at the entrance before directing you to the nearest available parking space.
