The Skills Zone gives young show-goers a chance to show off their skills - 2023 visitors experienced a vast arrary of industrys, skills and fun activities including:
- Science, Public services and forensics - using a car for search activities, fingerprinting, navigation and experiments
- Hair and Beauty - Nail Art, Hair styling and face painting
- Childcare - Kids activities, Colourin, Coronation themed activities and a sand pit
- Creative arts - Painting and Clay workshops, Tile Painting, Flash mob, Transfer tattoos and Badge making
- Tech - Oculus Quest (virtual reality headset) A head-worn apparatus that completely covers the eyes for an immersive 3D experience, Motion capture activities and DJ Decks
- Painting and decorating - Demos from West Suffolk College and Suffolk New College
- Flint - Demos
- Tile walls - Have a go area and Write a message on the tile to add to the collage create on the wall
- Brick work - Demos from West Suffolk College and Suffolk New College
- Carpentry - Both Site and bench carpentry demos from West Suffolk College and Suffolk New College
