The Skills Zone gives young show-goers a chance to show off their skills - 2024 visitors will experience a vast array of industries, skills and fun activities including (many more still to be confirmed):
- Science, Public services and forensics - an immersive crime room, fingerprinting and experiments
- Hair and Beauty - nail art, hair braiding and hair chalks
- Health and Social Care - face painting, have a go at caring for a pretend hospital patient
- Creative Arts - T-shirt printing
- Tech - DJ Decks and Drums, VR headsets
- Painting and Decorating - Demos from West Suffolk College and Suffolk New College
- Tile Walls - Have a go area and write a message on the tile to add to the collage create on the wall
- Brickwork - Demos from West Suffolk College and Suffolk New College making a commemorative bench
- Carpentry - Olympic themed carpentry demos from West Suffolk College and Suffolk New College
- Skills Activity Area from Suffolk New College - Scaletrix, foam brick laying, bird box making (to take home), push and fit plumbing, sandpit, giant connect 4, buzzer wire
