Tractors in Schools

Suffolk Agricultural Association are delighted that we will be bringing tractors into Suffolk schools’ playgrounds once again between Monday 12 – Friday 16 February 2024. A local farmer will bring their tractor to your school and deliver a short, interactive talk, demonstration and discussion tailored to your pupils.

Farming can link with a plethora of different subjects and topics such as seasons and forces in Science, creative or report writing in English, measuring and data in Maths and much, much more.  With agriculture being dovetailed into many areas of the National Curriculum we hope that you will take this FREE opportunity for your pupils to learn more about Suffolk Farming which produces some of the finest local food and an industry that provides a wealth of career opportunities throughout the supply chain.

Additional information and application form will be sent to your school following the half term break in November 2023.

Or apply using the form HERE
