SAA Coronation Gates Information
The Coronation Gates at Trinity Park home of the Suffolk Show marking the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III
Conceived as an idea by Mr Stephen Miles DL the SAA, in recognition of the King’s coronation on 6 May 2023, has commissioned new gates for its Main Avenue entrance, to be referred to as ‘The Coronation Gates’ entrance.
As with the Avenue of Trees, planted in recognition of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s seventy year reign in 2022, the gates will be a permanent and enduring legacy marking the occasion; we remain very grateful to those who sponsored the avenue.
The gates (hand made) and hedging plants have been created / provided by local companies.
The gates will be formally recognised at the 2023 Suffolk Show.
Individuals and organisations are welcome to support this initiative with a minimum pledge of £50.00. The aim is to raise sufficient funds to cover the total cost of the project of £14,000. Any surplus funds will be donated to Suffolk Community Foundation along with any gift aid provided funds
By becoming a sponsor you will be formally recorded as such and be invited to an occasion at the Suffolk Show. A plaque listing donor names will be mounted adjacent to the gates.
