The family favourite Farm Discovery Zone is back for the 2026 Suffolk Show! Look at our fantastic line-up for this year's show!
'Net to Plate' - the story of our local fisheries and their communities, demonstrating the catch process, how fishing benefits the local economy, sustainability, traceability and seasonality. Also, showcasing the importance of seafood in terms of food security, tourism and managing the environment.
Spinners and weavers – Discover how a sheep’s fleece is processed and turned into wool for crafts, clothing and more! You can watch as the wool is traditionally spun on a spinning wheel and get crafty too with hands-on fibre crafts and weaving activities using weaving sticks, peg looms and god's eyes.
Pedal tractors - Have a trundle around on some tractors!
Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses and Baylham Rare Breeds will be in the new Farm Barn - Come and meet some of the animals from our farm, talk to the farmers first-hand and learn about how farm produce is made. Taste and take home some wares too! (they will be selling their own cheese and milkshakes). Baylham are bringing Highland cattle, goats with kids at foot & alpaca with Cria.
Easton Farm Park - are back with Children’s Farm - Meet the friendly farm animals from Easton Farm Park. Hug a bunny, groom a pony, cheese making, wool spinning and more
Farm Simulator – Sit in a Tractor simulator and experience what it feels like to be a farmer!
Straw Pyramid – children can climb the famous straw pyramid
Suffolk Young Farmers- Become a Young Farmer for the day, and find out what the organisation is all about!
Diggerland – Come and have a go at the digger challenge! It's not just your average game; it's a test of your concentration, hand-eye coordination and patience!
Sheep Show – An entertaining and educational show about different sheep breeds and the importance of wool. Look forward to the famous finale – Dancing Sheep!
Sausage Tasting – Enjoy a yummy sausage courtesy of the Ladies in Pigs team, as well as discovering more about the pigs that are used to produce them, and have a go at sausage roll-making
Central College of Animal Studies- Speak to our student veterinary nurses about their training. Try our many activities, including bandaging, resuscitating our model dog, gowning for an operation, plus guessing the veterinary equipment and parasites!
Farm Machinery - A tractor and trailer have so many jobs to do on the farm. Explore how they help in the planting, growing and harvesting of cereal crops and discover how a combine harvester works too.
Cook With Me Kids – A variety of cookery workshops where you will be able to make some yummy treats!
Dairy Den – Pop into the Dairy Den to see cows being milked throughout the day and find out what food they eat to make milk.
Gressingham Foods - Come and find out about careers within the Food and Farming sector. We offer 16+ apprenticeships. We will also be showcasing cooking demonstrations using our fantastic products!
Tractor Bouncy Castle – Let off some energy and have fun in the tractor-shaped bouncy castle!
Little Story Telling Company - We will be exploring the science of taste. Come and try our fun challenge to discover how our body detects what food is in our mouths!
Suffolk New College - Suffolk New College's Rural campus has a range of programs, including Agriculture, Equine and Animal Care. There will be animal handling, have a go activities, a farm simulator and more.
Inventive Farmer Competition – This competition is the chance to showcase novel farm inventions, large or small. Come and take a look at these ingenious creations!
