General Visitor Information 2026
OPENING TIMES
The gates open at 7am both days, last entry is 7.00pm on Day 1 and 5.30pm on Day 2. All tradestands are open from 8.30am until 6pm on both days.

If you plan to attend the Show both days, please consider becoming a MEMBER of the Suffolk Agricultural Association as membership benefits include tickets to both days of the Suffolk Show, forward car parking and use of the Ringside Club. You can also purchase members' guest passes that grant access on a single day of the show. By becoming a member, you will also be helping to support our charity initiatives held throughout the year. WHERE CAN I BUY SUFFOLK SHOW TICKETS
- You can buy e-tickets online in advance, just show the barcode to staff on the gate to obtain entry (no need to print your ticket).
- Buy your ticket on the gates on Show days at full price.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome, they are not, however, permitted into the Ringside Club or Adnams Food & Drink Experience. Please do not under any circumstances leave dogs in cars and please clean up any mess. Dog watering bowls are available alongside drinking water taps throughout the Showground, please refer to the show visitor map for locations.
LOST CHILDREN
Children's wristbands will be given out at all three entrances to the Show. These are designed for parents and guardians to write their emergency contact number on so if the child is lost the parent or guardian can be contacted. Lost children should be taken to the Show Office (Grid Ref I11).
FACILITIES FOR DISABLED VISITORS
There will be a hospitality centre for disabled people at the Show, that offers a quiet place to rest and purchase some refreshments. All toilet blocks have accessible toilets for disabled visitors. Disabled visitors are charged the appropriate full price admission, an accompanying carer is admitted at no cost and does not require a ticket.
Event Mobility Charitable Trust is delighted to be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show. Both days are now fully booked for mobility scooters but there is still limited availability of manual wheelchairs.
A Changing Places facility is located inside the public toilet block on the corner of Main Avenue and Seventh Avenue (Grid Ref O10).
There are designated viewing areas by three of the main rings for visitors with disabilities.
WHO ORGANISES THE SHOW
The Suffolk Agricultural Association (SAA) is a charity whose aim is to promote food, farming, environment, and wildlife. To support our aims, we deliver a wide range of educational programmes to bring industry experts, farmers, young people, and the public together across the county. We deliver other events including one of the UK’s oldest county shows, the Suffolk Show, which raises funds to support the SAA’s charitable purpose, charity number 288595. Our home, Trinity Park, is available to hire which includes an award-winning purpose-built conference and event centre.
ARE PUBLIC TRADESTANDS FREE
Yes, the grandstands are free to all Show visitors and there will be grandstands around both the Grand Ring, President's Ring and Trinity Ring.
CASH
There are no cash machines available at the Show. A limited amount of cash is available at all three entrances.
WATER
Drinking water taps are available throughout the site. Please refer to the visitor map for locations.
FOOD & DRINK
Adnams Beach Eats, Greene King Eat Street, Adnams Food and Drink Experience and various other catering options. The variety of food on offer will be wider than ever before and includes a much higher percentage of local and artisan catering outlets that will be offering fresh, local and healthy options. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic if you would prefer.
FACILITIES FOR VISITORS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN
Under 5's change and play area provides a designated space for visitors with young children. There will be a small soft play area set up for younger visitors, place to breastfeed and have a cup of tea or coffee. This facility is run by The Peartree Kindergarten. Grid reference O9, Stand number 502.
INFORMATION ON THE DAY
Information Kiosks are located at Bucklesham and Foxhall entrances to the Show where you will be able to pick up a free show map. Those entering through Ipswich gate will be able to pick up a free copy in the Ringside Club. Show Staff are also available on both days to assist visitors with any queries. Show Office can be found on Main Avenue, Grid Ref I11.
FIRST AID
Facilities provided by St John Ambulance (marked with red cross on the visitor maps) during Show opening hours. The SAA's Medical Officers can be contacted through either of the First Aid posts. For out of hours services please telephone 999/111.
WASHING FACILITIES
We encourage all visitors to wash their hands on a regular basis and especially after touching animals and before eating. Please use the nearest toilet block to your location to do so.
