Show App

Launched in 2018, the Suffolk Show app features useful information and ideas to help visitors plan their day, including a detailed map of the Show, ring timetables, information on individual trade stands, and public transport timetables to and from the showground. The free-to-download App showcases how technology affects every element of the Suffolk Show, from animals and farming to fashion and flowers. Take a look at the 2018 digital stories here. 

The App was created through a collaboration between BT, West Suffolk College and the Suffolk Agricultural Association. Smart Networked Environments, a member of Innovation Martlesham Business Club, developed the app with generous funding from Suffolk County Council.

Not only is the App a valuable resource for show visitors, but it also highlights the importance of technology in everyday life today, as well as inspiring young people in Suffolk to develop the technical skills and confidence that they will need to succeed in the future.

The 2019 app will be available to download in May 2019.

 Download the app before travelling to the show and revel in the excitement of our treasure trail - great fun for all the family! Themed around ‘looking back, looking forward’ this feature will give you a greater insight and personal perspective behind some of the shows displays.

About the Treasure Trail 

Check out our smartphone treasure trail and learn more about some of the amazing displays at the Show. There are seven locations around the Show marked on the app’s map. At each location you can unlock content to discover interesting facts and stories about the displays using your smartphone. There’s a poster at each location with a QR code for you to scan with your phone to reveal the content. The trail is designed for everyone to enjoy though you will need a compatible smartphone.

Unlock all the locations and answer a simple question linked to each one to enter our draw to win a prize. You’ll need to enter your details to be part of the competition – terms and conditions apply.

Postcard Treasure Trail

Enjoy the trail using our Postcard Treasure Trail version - available in our FREE Show Guide! We’ve created a simple walking trail of seven locations around the Show to help you enjoy some of our amazing displays. At each location you’ll find a large poster with a simple multiple-choice question. Collect the letter that corresponds to the correct answer for each multiple choice question at each spot. Once you have collected all seven letters, re-arrange the letters to spell a word - then enter our competition to win a fabulous prize.

Where to enter: When you have completed the trail, submit your entry at the Show admin building.

Suffolk Agricultural Association

The Suffolk Agricultural Association is a charity whose aim is to promote food, farming and the countryside and its importance to Suffolk. To support our aims, we deliver a wide range of education programmes for young people across the County. The Suffolk Show is one of the UK's oldest county shows and remains a traditional agricultural show at heart. Our home, Trinity Park is available to hire along with an award winning, purpose built conference and events centre.
