Cookery Theatre

The Cookery Theatre, sponsored by Adnams and the Suffolk Agricultural Association hosts two days of Chef demonstrations and food producers within the Suffolk Show Food Hall. 

Whether you are an accomplished cook or keen beginner, you should definitely get yourself over to the Suffolk Show Cookery Theatre, sponsored by Adnams and the Suffolk Agricultural Association. This year it is hosted by the wonderful Emma Crowhurst and Robert Mace. Using as many local ingredients as possible, the stellar line-up of chefs are getting creative and showing you how to make the most of Suffolk’s incredible produce. A Fun Kitchen has also been set-up for children, who can make their own healthy dishes using seasonal fruit and vegetables.

NEW THIS YEAR TO THE FOOD HALL-

The Award-Winning Cookery School Workshops for Children Under 18, 'Fun Kitchen' is coming to the Suffolk Show 2018, using their mobile kitchen equipment. 

Fun Kitchen offer ‘hands-on’ multi-award-winning cookery workshops taught by experienced food teachers: high energy, fun food education delivered in an inspiring and engaging manner.

Fun Kitchen will be holding workshops for up to 25 children from 9:00am- 10:00am & 4:00pm-5:00pm on the Wednesday and Thursday, in the Cookery Theatre, located in the Food Hall. 

Young visitors will prepare and cook a predominantly healthy food item using seasonal fruit or vegetables to take home after the session.

Participants over 5 years old and under 8 need to be supervised by a parent of responsible guardian over 18.
