Information For Disabled Visitors

We aim to ensure that visitors with disabilities enjoy their day at the Suffolk Show.  Our policy on admission for disabled visitors is that whilst they are charged the appropriate full price admission, an accompanying carer is admitted at no cost.  In terms of access on the day, all our Stewards and Car Park staff have been briefed to allow blue badge holders access to forward car parking in all our car parks.  These spaces are available on a first come first served basis.  Should no more spaces be available, all our staff and stewards will allow you to drop off at the entrance before directing you to the nearest available parking space.

Event Mobility Charitable Trust will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair either print out an advance booking form from our website www.eventmobility.org.uk or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you.  Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone. A mobile scooter costs £25 and a manual wheelchair costs £10.

Event Mobility is also present at a number of other events.  For further information please visit our web site, email eventmobility@hotmail.co.uk.  or contact the office on 01386 725391.

The charity operates entirely from the generosity of donations and any further contribution would be greatly appreciated.

The show provides a Centre for Disabled People marquee just inside the Nacton entrance at stand number 498. The Centre for Disabled People is a dedicated hospitality area and meeting point for disabled people and their carers. Refreshments are available at a nominal charge and all profits will go to Help the Heroes. The centre is organised by Otley College Student Services.

A guide for disabled visitors to the show is also available before the show or from the Centre for Disabled People on the day. You can also download it here or request a copy by calling 01473 707117.
