What are the opening times?

The gates open at 7am both days, last entry is 7.00pm on Day 1 and 5.30pm on Day 2. All tradestands are open from 8.30am until 6pm on both days.

If you plan to attend the Show both days, please consider becoming a member of the Suffolk Agricultural Association as membership benefits include tickets to both days of the Suffolk Show, forward car parking and use of the the Ringside Club. You are also able to purchase members' guest passes that give access on one day of the show.

Where can I buy Suffolk Show tickets?

You can buy e-tickets online in advance, just show the barcode to staff on the gate to obtain entry (no need to print your ticket).

How can I get to the Show?

Car - The Suffolk Show is held at Trinity Park, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 8UH. When travelling to the Show please follow the yellow AA signs.
Bus - A number of regular bus services are available from Ipswich central and Ipswich Railway. A Shuttle Bus operated by Ipswich Buses will run from Ipswich Railway Station to Trinity Park on both days of the Show. Standard fares apply.
Bike - a dedicated Cycle Park is available at GATE 1 (off Felixstowe Road entrance to the showground).
Train - Ipswich railway station is just 10 miles away from Trinity Park. Ipswich buses will run a shuttle service from the train station to Trinity Park.
Taxi - There is a taxi drop off point on Murrills Road, off the roundabout at GATE 1. Visitors can then enter the showground through the Pedestrian entrance.
Coach - Coaches enter through GATE 1 and there is a designated coach park. The coach driver is admitted free to the show.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome, they are not, however, permitted in to the Ringside Club or Adnams Food & Drink Experience. Please do not under any circumstances leave dogs in cars and please clean up any mess.

What are the main attractions and things to do with the children for free?

Visit Military Zone and sit in the Gazelle helicopter or play noughts and crosses with a navy diver
You can make a key ring, try your hand at electronic drums or try your hand at scientific explosions in the Suffolk Skills Zone
In the Sports Zone try your hand at archery, have a go at athletics track and field events, there will be a mini off road cycle circuit for children to enjoy
Whilst in the Farm Discovery Zone extract a DNA from a strawberry, make a pizza or enjoy a Sheep Show
Visit the Emergency Service Zone and meet Suffolk’s Real Life Superheroes from many emergency services saving lives on land and sea
In the Countryside & Wildlife Zone you will be able to do some pond dipping, bird spotting and insect identification as well as watch pole climbing and expert axemen demonstrations

What is the policy for lost children?

Children's wristbands will be given out at all three entrances to the Show. This are designed for parents and guardians to write their emergency contact number on so if the child is lost they can be contacted.

What provision is there for disabled visitors?

There will be a hospitality centre for disabled people at the Show, that offers a quiet place to rest and purchase some refreshments. All toilet blocks have accessible toilets for disabled visitors. Disabled visitors are charged the appropriate full price admission, an accompanying carer is admitted at no cost and does not require a ticket.

Event Mobility Charitable Trust is delighted to be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show. Please book your scooter HERE.

A Changing Places facility is located inside the public toilet block on the corner of Main Avenue and Seventh Avenue (Grid Ref O10).

There are designated viewing areas by three of the main rings for visitors with disabilities.

Who organises the Show?

The Suffolk Show is organised by the Suffolk Agricultural Association, as a charity the SAA aims to encourage and facilitate positive engagement between the public and those working in food, farming and the countryside. The Suffolk Show helps raise funds to support the SAA’s charitable purpose. Charity number 288595.

Are public grandstands free?

Yes, the grandstands are free to all Show visitors and there will be grandstands around both the Grand Ring, President's Ring and Trinity Ring.

Can I get cash out at the show?

There are no cash machines available at the Show.

Can I become a member of the Suffolk Agricultural Association?

Yes anyone can join the Association, membership includes entry to both days of the Show, forward parking and use of the Ringside Club, it is valid for 1 year from the 1 October to the 30 September. For prices and more benefits of becoming a member, click here.

Is there drinking water on site?

Drinking water taps are available throughout the site. Please refer to visitor map for locations.

Where can I buy food and drink?

Adnams Beach Eats, Greene King Eat Street, Adnams Food and Drink Experience and various other catering options. The variety of food on offer will be wider than ever before and includes a much higher percentage of local and artisan catering outlets that will be offering fresh, local and healthy options. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic if you would prefer.

Facilities for visitors with young children

Under 5's change and play area provides a designated space for visitors with young children. There will be a small soft play area set up for younger visitors, place to breastfeed and have a cup of tea or coffee. This facility is run by 4YP (for Children and Young People). Grid reference O9.

Where can I find more information on the day?

Please visit the main Show Office for any information, Grid Ref I11. Information Kiosks are located at three of the main entrances to the Show where you will be able to pick up a free show map.

Where can I find First Aid and an Ambulance?

Facilities provided by St John Ambulance (marked with red cross on the visitor maps) during Show opening hours. The Association's Medical Officers can be contacted through either of the First Aid posts. For out of hours services please telephone 999/111.

Are there Hand Washing facilities?

We encourage all visitors to wash their hands on a regular basis and especially after touching animals and before eating. Please use the nearest toilet block to your location to do so.
