Thank you to all our Sponsors and Officials who have helped make this event possible.

Principal Sponsor:

The Suffolk Agricultural Association is pleased to announce that following the huge success of last year’s Autumn Horse Show, we will be organising the Show again this year on Sunday 11 September.  The Horse Show has been championed and organised by members of the Suffolk Show team and will, once again, be a fundraising event to raise funds to support the SAA’s educational initiatives, principally the School Farm and Country Fair. The first Show was very well received with over 350 entries over the day.  Thanks to the attendance and the very generous support given by our sponsors we managed to raise £3500 for the School Farm and Country Fair. This funding enables the SAA to host the School Farm and Country Fair, which is aimed at 7-9 year olds completely free of charge, including their transport costs.  This year the event was completely subscribed with 4500 children able to attend.

The concept behind the Autumn Horse Show was that it would give the local equestrian community the opportunity to ride in the ‘famous’ Suffolk Show rings and the schedule was created to give amateur riders, at whatever level, a chance to compete with classes for showing, jumping, dressage and working hunters.  We will be holding a selection of qualifying classes for the Veteran Horse Society, Equifest, and the Side Saddle Association. We will also be holding a number of novelty fun classes.  SAA members will also receive a discounted entry fee.

Following a review of last year’s classes, we have tweaked the schedule slightly to offer more in-hand classes.  We are also going to have Championships throughout the day with a Supreme Championship at the end of the Showing classes.
